Update:
Food wise, I think I have been pretty good this last week. I tracked everything perfectly, I didn’t have any treat days and anything like chocolate got tracked into My Fitness Pal! I think the main thing that has kept me on track this past week has been weighing in daily. This is the first week with my new personal trainer; Nathan and he recommended that I weigh-in daily, as my naughty days tend to be at weekends so he said it’s not fair that if I have been super good Monday-Friday, ate badly at the weekend and weighed in on the Monday and gained, he said it wouldn’t show my effort and only the naughty days! The plan of action has been to weigh in daily, as soon as I get up, but after I’ve been to the loo, and weigh my self! I then enter the number into a spreadsheet he set up, and at the end of the week it calculates an average.
I was quite dubious of the weighing in daily, due to suffering previously with mental health issues, and I didn’t want to get crazy, focusing purely on the numbers and getting really upset if it went up if I had been good! Over looking the whole week, it hasn’t been to bad, but that’s because it has slowly been going down, however it did shoot up Tuesday and I was gutted. I can’t lie, I was so upset! I said to Nathan about this, and we decided to stick the whole week out before deciding if it was too much or not. I think I am going to keep with it for now, and then if it starts getting too much, I’ll go back to just having the one weigh-in a week!
Here is last week’s weigh in totals:
| Day | Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday | Friday | Saturday | Sunday |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Weight (lbs) | 205 | 207.7 | 205.4 | 204.3 | 204.3 | 203.7 | 202.6 |
So as you can see, yesterday I weighed in the lowest weight I can ever remember being! 202.6lbs I am not even going to lie and say I didn’t do a happy dance because I totally did!
Training wise this week, It’s been a complete mess if I am completely honest! Monday I had a half hour PT session with Nathan which consisted of starting measurements, and then we did Deadlifts, him checking my form and just getting me use to it again. Although it’s my favourite lift ever, I haven’t done it since christmas as I had an injury and was super nervous getting back into it without having someone check my form!
I then did a boxing PT session with Nathan on Wednesday after work, and it really killed me but I left feeling so amazing! I forgot how much I loved these types of sessions and after I got home I quickly booked me and my mum in for an hour session on Thursday night which was killer, but so much fun! The rest of the week It was just a mixture of cardio and random days from the Lee Lebrada 12 Week program I was following! I am waiting for Nathan to get back to me with a new program, so it’s just whatever I fancy in between PT sessions really! I don’t feel like I did that much cardio this week though, which is a shame! Goal for next week; do more cardio! Oh the joys.
Weigh In
After the weekly weigh in and seeing it slowly decrease each day, I was really hoping to be at least 202.5lbs today!
-3.2lbs!
I am so over the moon now! I am finally so so close to hitting >199 and its such a great feeling!! Heres to a great week 4!
Weekly Weigh In:
| Weight | BMI | Bodyfat % | Lean Body Mass | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Week 1 | 212.7lbs | 32.4 | 40.5% | 126.5lbs lean / 86.1lbs fat |
| Week 2 | 206.9lbs | 31.5 | 41.1% | 121.7lbs lean / 85.1lbs fat |
| Week 3 | 205lbs | 31.2 | 40.4% | 122.1lbs lean / 82.8lbs fat |
| Week 4 | 201.8lbs | 30.7 | 40% | 121.2lbs lean / 81lbs fat |
That’s Week 4 DONE! I am going to try to add a lot more cardio in this week! I also have new macro numbers to try out thanks to Nathan, so I think that’s going to be quite a struggle this week! Onwards & upwards right! Also make sure you have a look at my post on how I lost 50lbs, you can see the before photo of when I was 261lbs 😐

CONGRATS! You are doing so amazing!! It’s so satisfying when your hard work pays off : ) I love using My Fitness Pal too! It’s really helped in cutting out some extra snacks I really didn’t need. I find my weight still fluctuates even if I’m eating the same things, which is so annoying, but it’s probably just hormones. Keep working hard lovely!
