“You have to put in many, many, many tiny efforts that nobody sees or appreciates before you achieve anything worthwhile.” ~Brian Tracy
I can not believe I am writing my week 8 update, how crazy is that?! Time is literally flying past and with 57 days till I fly to Greece, I really need to kick myself up the butt more with my training routine!
I had 2 really good days this week with my Fitbit, I actually hit 10,000 steps twice which never happens to me, even if I go to the gym twice! My food in the week was on plan, hitting 180g protein all week but it went downhill over the bank holiday weekend. I didn’t aim for any of macros, ate hardly anything but most of it was rubbish! I am going out for dinner tonight, probably at TGI Friday’s so I tried to be good over the weekend to make up for it, but again less calories and more rubbish definitely isn’t the way to go about it!
I got a really exciting Bulk Powders order on Friday! I got 1kg Toffee Popcorn protein and 2.5kg Chocolate protein! It was such a good deal I really couldn’t resist! I also placed a Musclefood order last week which will be coming tomorrow, and I ordered a swimsuit off Asos, hopefully I won’t hate it too much when it arrives!
I actually sorted my clothes out yesterday, and tried on loads of clothes from last summer that did not fit me at all and I was so so happy that they were too big and I could get them on with ease! No better feeling than seeing those kind of results!

On the other side, I did have a mini melt down yesterday, I didn’t have any clean gym leggings (I only wear TLC Sport) so I picked out some gorgeous grey ones from Reebok I got for christmas. 1) They were too big 2) They were super thin 3) They showed up everything – I couldn’t focus at the gym properly because I felt so self-concious, I kept trying to pull my top down and just felt really panicky and anxious the whole time, as soon as I got home they went straight into the donating pile!!
Right, now the important bit! I had a good feeling about this weigh-in, as you know I do weigh in daily anyway so normally I can gauge a little what my weigh in will be like!
-7.1lbs
Such a great loss!! Compared to yesterday’s weigh in, I am exactly the same, but as I run my weekly updates on the monday weigh ins, this is such a big loss compared to last week!! So exciting to nearly hit 190!! This is the next milestone for me and I really can’t wait to get there! I definitely need to add more cardio in this week!
