Now, it’s not completely likely that you’ll need one, but having one with you is essential. You likely won’t be allowed on board without one! You can get life jackets online or from stores, and they come in many shapes and sizes. Making sure to pick one up before you leave is a must!

Many boating communities are very welcoming and friendly, and finding yourself amongst them can provide many social benefits! It’s always nice to meet new people, and if you think sailing is something you could be interested in, then a sailing club could be a fun hobby for you to partake in.

Experienced sailors have so much more freedom on the sea, and it can change how you see the borders of the world!
