Weightloss diary number 10. I have actually posted an update every week for 10 weeks, how insane is that?! I swear every week I am over the moon I have been on the weightloss bandwagon, and tried to be as dedicated as possible! With that little ray of happiness, I bring on the more negative parts of week 9.
So last week I got the news that I am not allowed to be lifting at all for now. I have been suffering with a shoulder and knee injury since November 2015 but I have been trundling on, having separate physio for both and last week I finally saw a senior physiotherapist for my shoulder. He basically said my whole body is out of alignment, that my knee and shoulder are probably related and that lifting (lower and upper body) is off limits, completely off limits!! I actually burst into tears after my appointment, lifting has been my life for the last 6 months, I have only missed a handful of days from the gym and it gives me so much joy so you can imagine my upset! I then had a x-ray and currently waiting on a date for a ultrasound to see where we can go from there!
I also got a date for surgery that I am having aswell, which has been giving me a lot of sleepless nights. I am being admitted as a day-case on the 31st May, and I am bricking it. I hate needles, huge needle-phobic so the thought of having a drip in my hand is scaring the shit out of me!! It just seems at the moment that everything with my health is going wrong, although this is the healthiest I have ever been. Ironic right?!
Food wise I hit my macros amazing this week, its been a slow decline but my weight was finally getting back to the pre-bad weekend binge stage and I was so over the moon! I have been slacking on the water intake this week though so need to start drinking the good stuff more this week!
I actually redid my numbers last night too! It’s been a good 6-8 weeks on my trainers numbers, so I decided to mix it up and redo them to give my body a change! I worked out 1797kcals, 150P 157C 60F based on 45minutes minimum effort workouts 7 days a week so I am super excited to have all the food again!
On the final sad note, me and my trainer are taking a break after next week’s PT sessions. Whilst I am unable to lift and recovering from surgery I am having a break, and hopefully when I am able to come back (I give myself 8 weeks!!) I want to smash it and get back to deadlifting and hit my goal of 100kg for reps!!
I also did some more progress pictures, so this was my before (261.1lbs) vs end of week 8 (199.1lbs)
-6lbs!

You’re gonna be fine in surgery love! It will be over so quickly. That majorly sucks about not being able to lift! It would break my heart too : ( But I know you’ll be back and kicking ass in no time!
