I can’t believe this is the 7th weigh in! It has literally whizzed past so quick! It really is amazing to see how much effort and progress I have been making! They do say that time will pass if your working on you or not, and I am glad these past 7 weeks I have been focused and driven to be a better me!
So what’s happened this week? As you read from Week 6’s update I was really struggling. I really struggled to pick myself up at the beginning of the week, but eventually got there around Wednesday this week! I still stuck to my macros and worked out, but my mindset had completely gone. It honestly felt like a light had gone out in my head, I was miserable and not focused and questioned why I was even bothering. I was crying after workouts and just not in a good place but thank god I have got my light back now! It’s not as bright as it was, but I am hoping this week I can get a bit brighter!
With only 62 days till my holiday to Greece, I really need to up the effort that goes into my workouts now! However I think I must be the only person who doesn’t get motivated for holidays? Honestly the thought depresses me more! But its a little over 8 weeks away I think, and considering in the past 6 weeks documenting this cut I have lost 15lbs, there is hope for me yet!!
I also signed up for Bodybuilding.com’s 8 Week Still In It challenge! I am doing it for fun but theres loads of amazing prizes to be won and I am a big fan of bodybuilding.com! There monthly magazine ‘Train” is literally incredible and I really suggest it for people that enjoy lifting!! I believe the challenge starts today and so I will add in my progress pictures that will be used as the ‘before’ photos for the challenge!

I am actually doing the challenge with my mum, so hopefully we will see some good results! I plan on sticking with my current macros from my trainer and just mixing up my workouts with their recommended ones!
I have also been having a few protein shake dates with my mum this week! There is an amazing cafe in the MMA gym thats 5 minutes away from my gym and we have been walking up there after sessions and having one of their amazing protein drinks! I have been loving the chocolate chip one, it tastes so good! I really want to try the salted caramel one or snickers one next! Super yummy!
So it’s the dreaded time for weigh in. I was definitely thinking more towards a gain this week.
+3.7lbs
I am so so gutted. This is such a big gain for me! My weekend was mostly on plan, not going over my calories but I am experiencing ‘star week’ or what I like to call ‘shark week’ so hopefully its just water weight! Onwards and upwards!
