Going from Blonde to?! There is no going back now…

Medium Length Ash Blonde Hair

A few weeks ago I just went for it. I went to my hairdresser and asked for something crazy. After spending years being the perfect Malibu Barbie Blonde, I wanted to dye my hair black.

It was something I have been toying for a while. When I was younger I would change my hair colour weekly, going red to pink to black to orange to blue.

After being blonde for this long, I found my self terrified of changing my hair. My best friend constantly reminded me of my younger days, when I had Black inky hair, and had the nickname ‘Amy Winehouse.’

So I did it, I went to my hairdresser (who honestly thought I had had a breakdown!). He sat me in the chair and had 3 different people chat to me to make sure I understood the blonde would be gone for a very loooong time. I nodded and just wanted to do it.

In all honestly, inside I was panicking, I didn’t know if I would like it, and I hadn’t been dark in years. But I needed a big change.

So after sitting in the chair for what felt like hours, I saw my finished hair and I fell in love. I absolutely love it right now. I am still getting used to it as it is so dark, but I really love my new hair.

So what wild changes are you going to do in 2020?! Let me know in the comments!

Beautiful! I am going to be trying my best to create a fitness plan. I would like to get in shape. I would also like to cut my hair. It’s currently long. So, maybe that would be something way different for me.

Oh wow! Such a big change. I’m a natural blonde and I’ve always wanted to go darker but I’m too scared about how hard it will be to go back if I don’t like it 🤦🏼‍♀️. I’m so glad you love yours! x

Looks lovely, black suits you. I stopped dying my hair in 2019, after being every colour I want to experience what my natural colour was &now I’m bored haha I might dye it again in 2020.

    Happy sunday!
