Musclefood Unthinkable

If you follow me on Instagram you will probably know I am big on tracking Macros. I love working out and lifting weights and spend most of the week training. Counting macros & lifting weights has been the key to my weightloss. It has helped me lose a huge 85lbs in 18 months!! However I have hit a plateau so I needed to mix things up.

This is why I am super excited to be trying Musclefood’s Do The Unthinkable Program for the week.

It is an interactive plan where you can access the workouts instantly through your account. There is zero meal prep involved as all your meals are delivered to your door – no counting calories required! There is also a huge supportive community & a PT on hand every day to chat too!

I don’t need much help getting to the gym. With my weight training I don’t really get a sweat on or get my heart rate thaaaat high. I am happy meal-prepping however recently I seem to be eating well monday-friday and then going overboard on the weekends.

The big appeal of the ‘Do The Unthinkable’ Plan was the zero meal prep and zero thinking. I am apprehensive not tracking calories but I am excited to try this completely different approach. I am also really excited to be eating pancakes & pizza and *hopefully* losing weight and breaking this plateau!

My thoughts

You can either sign up for the 5, 6 or 7 day option depending on your budget and lifestyle. I will be trying the 6-day plan which comes in at £69 (£1.91 per meal) and I’m really impressed!  This is literally the most hassle-free and straight forward meal plan I’ve ever tried.

When you register you answer a few questions (age. sex, weight etc) and then you select your goal (lose weight, gain lean muscle etc) you’re then taken to a page where you select your meals.  You choose a meal for breakfast, lunch and dinner each day as well as a morning, afternoon and evening snack. The first thing that I noticed is that it’s actually quite a lot of food and you are very unlikely to ever feel hungry.

I was a bit worried about finding food I would enjoy everyday for 4 weeks however I was pleasantly surprised and in the last week there was some new additions to the menu that were delicious.

Examples of the food you can have:

Breakfast: Pancakes, Oats, Protein Bars, Eggs & Cookies

Lunch & Dinners: Pasta Kits, Rice Pots, Curries, Pizza, Fajita mixes & Chicken Dishes

Snacks: Protein Bars, Cheese & Nuts, Olives, Crisps, Jerky & Chicken Skewers

Typical Day of meals:

Breakfast: Pancakes with Caramel Sauce (Sweet freedom from Aldi is lovely!)

Snack: Cheese & Nuts Snack & Strawberries

Lunch: Chicken Satay Rice Pot (Delicious!)

Snack: Nakd Pecan Pie Bar

Dinner: Chicken Tikka Pizza with Coke Zero

Snack: Barebells Salty Peanut Protein Bar & 3kcal Jelly

It is pretty cool that there are meal services that sends you portioned food. I like the idea when you don’t want to put a lot of thought into planning your meals and just want to get straight to prep and cook. Love the different items that were packed in the box! Thanks for sharing!
