Slimming World Brownies – ½ syn chocolate brownies

Source

½ Syn Slimming World Brownies.

So you are on the hunt for something pretty much syn free and full of chocolatey goodness? These could be the answer you’re looking for. Slimming world brownies that are really simple to make and low syn. On their own, these Slimming world brownies are slightly bland however I found that topped with a yoghurt and fruit they are an absolute dream and still only ½ syn each. You could even top these with some Choc Shot!

The recipe makes 25 Slimming World ½ syn brownies.

Ingredients –

  • 6 Eggs (separated)
  • 70g Sweetener
  • 60g Cocoa Powder
  • 1tsp Vanilla Essence
  • Fry light*

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees, spray baking tin with fry light* then line with grease proof paper.
*I used mini foil baking tins, so didn’t spray or use the fry light, or line them.
2. Whisk the egg whites till they have formed soft peaks.
3. In a separate bowl, add the egg yolk, sweetener, vanilla and cocoa powder.
4. Whisk until mixed, add water if the mixture is too stiff, however, I did not need the extra water.
5. Fold in the egg whites.
6. Pour mixture in tin/tins
7. Bake for 35-40 minutes
8. Eat hot or cold, with or without topping (I recommend with) and walaaa.. ½ syn brownie dessert!

I really hope you enjoy this recipe. It honestly is super simple and easy to whip up in the kitchen. They make a nice dessert for when I crave something chocolatey! This is such a great recipe, even if you’re not following Slimming World! I’ve done weight watchers twice and reached goal both times, and even though I’m not following it now (even though I should be because I’ve put on a stone!) I still like to follow healthy recipes. you kinda get used to the bland foods though don’t you! xx

I made these but found they had a bitter after taste due to the sweetner. I made some more with a lot less sweetener because the amount stated in this recipe equates to 700g of sugar. Try making them with around 20g sweetener.

I have just put some in the oven. Not 100% sure I have done them correctly but hopefully they will turn out well. When you say add alwater if its too stiff. Mine was very dry like bread crumbs. I added water so it was more like a mixture just wondering if that is right? Thank you for the recipe.

I’m very confused by this. I made It and it turned out like a chocolate flavoured omlette! Surely there is supposed to be some flour in it? This wasn’t nice at all 🙁

I am sorry to hear this! From what I have heard the consistency is all about the egg whites and how much you ‘whip them’. I would suggest checking out my other brownie recipe for a healthy dessert that is a lot more like a brownie consistency 🙂 x

Hi Emma, I hope you enjoyed them! Make sure you check out my other healthy brownie recipe too as it is so much nicer and more like a brownie than the SW ones! <3
